I'd go with a 03-04' Lincoln Navigator. Plenty of power, and it has air conditioned seats to keep your *** from sweating on those longs trips

Its amazing right ? I am thinking about going with a Dodge Ram 2500 if I can find a decent turbo diesel for under 5k I would get that but I highly doubt I will so I am thinking V6 at largest a V8

If its so stupid why are you in here posting on it . Damn thread trolls. I mean if you have nothing productive to say about the topic just get out of it . It wasnt started for you and I bet people who have also thought about a truck as a daily driver might as well benefit from me asking.

My dad just got a 1985 F-250 Diesel (no turbo ) 4x4 raised for 1500$!!! We got it with 175k miles and were about to hit 200k and the only thing going is the clutch.

Trucks are gas hogs (most of them anyway), and daily drivers for ignorant people. They pollute the environment more than a car (I'm no tree hugger, but I wish every American realized how wasteful he is in comparison with the rest of the world.)

If you don't use a truck every day, and I mean use as in haul stuff in the bed or use it to tow...then you do not need one. If you've got it to use when you need it, then there's nothing wrong with that.

There are way too many moms riding around in big *** SUVs with no reserves about spending $45 to fill up and driving around on shopping trips with no other passengers for a full day. I would hope most of the people in this forum who have enough brain power to make racing machines and keep up an RX-7 can refrain from adding to such a wasteful and harmful practice.
