Nice

Looks good, could use a tad bit of lowering. Also, good luck with putting the interior back on...

The coilovers were raised to the max intentionally to allow clearance from the fenders while moving around as well as loading/unloading on the trailer. He has all intentions of lowering it when its ready to be on the road I can assure you that...no rally fd here

Looks great, Rob. Can't wait for the next round of pics. I'm really interested in seeing these fiberglass wheel well liners, and all the other custom goodies .

Thanks for the nice comments ;o) The doors, hatch, glass, fenders, bumper etc. were all taken off for the paint job. As Nick pointed out, the car has been raised to max ride height because I am still in the building phase and need to be able to get under the car, up/off trailer etc. I have built this car from scratch and about 85% done. The drivetrain has been installed, now I just need to work on fabbing the exhaust, brake lines and complete the wiring, install interior, build fuel system etc. The front end has not gotten its final gap alignment yet so I'm only posting rear pics for now. I'll take more pics underneath when I take the suspension off to be polished and powdercoat the brake ducts and clean up the rotors and calipers.

Looks wonderful, although I'm not a fan of the wing and clear rear fender reflectors. With this much attention to detail, I'm excited to see the next steps of your project.

-s-

PS, great choice for a daily-driver. I used to have an Impreza 2.5RS, and there are days that I wish I hadn't traded it for the RX-7.

Very nice Rob. I'm impressed. Those WIIIIIDE rear tires look great!

I'd like to know what body shop did the work. Judging from your results, I'd be inclined to go there myself if/when the need arises.

I appreciate that. The rear reflectors shown in the pictures are the reflectors that the original owner installed on the car. I've already swapped the fronts with JDM reflectors and the rears are on the way (not a fan of the clear either). I chose this wing because I find it more unique than its 99 spec counterpart that you find on every 3rd RX-7, and it flows perfectly with the lines of the car, including the flares. The spoiler is not for everyone, admittedly, but then again what is? the spoiler has grown on me, and looks quite nice in person, I think.

Thanks for the complement on the DD, but that's actually a friend's car. My DD is a bit larger, slower and less fuel efficient ;o)
