OK has anyone changed all the coolant hoses on their FD. I just purchased all the hoses from mallory and want any pointers you guys might have. Is there any maps out there that make it easier?
I also purchased new fuel hoses to replace.

1.) Have a full afternoon to spend on it
2.) Be patient....VERY patient
3.) Have a small flathead screwdriver handy to help pry stuck hoses off of theri barbs
4.) Have a boxcutter handy to cut stuck hoses off of barbs
5.) Have a pair of tin snips handy to cut small hoses in half
6.) Have sandpaper ready to sand caked on gunk off of barbs
7.) You pretty much must have a set of long, long , long nose needle nose pliers handy to get to some of the smaller hose clamps
8.) Take it one hose at a time and be patient and careful
I did the same hose job (coolant only though) a while back on my car and the ONLY hose I couldn't get to is the one that runs on top of the engine on the passenger side. I'll be tackling that when I yank out my fuel rail next month.
Good luck.

dont put too much pressure on the hoses to the stock radiator. make sure the hose to your ast isn't too long or kinked. you need to take off a lot of **** to get to the turbo coolant lines. look on rob robinettes site for that, it spells it out pretty well.

I'll give you some advice,
I didnt bother reading that manual, so i could be repeating something here, but if not...
Once you have put all the hoses and tightened the clamps, run the engine till its warm, then retighten the clamps while checking for leaks.
Also you can use a bit of lubricant (waterbased) *just a little* around the barbs to get the hoses on and off easier.
hope that helps ya
