thought i just broke my car!!
wow, i was scared shitless today, i thought a broke my car todayl. I was just getting on to the highway to do a boost check in 3rd gear, to see how things are holding up. was doing 35mph hit the gas, went up to 10 psi, at 4500rpm it went to 8 psi and then right back to 10psi. Like 2 seconds after it went back to 10 psi, I hear this bang, then what sounded like a realy loud ratling and rumbling noise. First thing that came to my mind was that i blew my engine but realized that my wheel started pulling to one side, i had to hold it steady while i slowed down cuz then i thought i might have popped a tire. At this point as its rumbling and ratling there was a bike behind me who decided to gun it past me on my left. all the sudden i hear another bang and this huge piece of plastic flys out and just misses the guy on the bike. It turned out my wheel well liner had ripped right out of my front driver side wheel well (must have gotten caught on something???). Man i was scared!!! Does anyone know how expensive the parts for this are???

Yeah, its about $150 from mazda. You need like 8-10 fasteners with it though, and it's a bitch to put on. I got a new one for my car, because when I got it, nothing in the front drivers side worked, and the plastic wasn't there.
I think they heat-mold them when they initially install the plastic, so it's a bitch to do by yourself. But luckily they aren't too pricey.

call Ray Crowe at Malloy Mazda 1888-533-3400 He just saved me about 300 bucks for all the crap i just ordered. Best prices i've seen!! he's in Virginia so it wouldn't take long to get to you .. he also has just about everything under the hood in stock!! good luck.
