Think I can get my car running in 2 weeks?

I just started to work on my car again and here are some pics from a couple days ago. I spend the past 3 days working on the subframe (finally done :-D). I'll post my progress if anyone is interested with daily/bi-daily pics.

ANOTHER 20B CYM?!?!?!?

I think Dragon did his 20B swap in about 25 days from the very beginning so 2 weeks left and the engine's already in...no problemo.

I bet you can get it running, but I then wouldn't drive it all the way to Indy without having time to sort it. I'd trailer it.

Are you going to swap the ignition over to magnetic pickups and coils?

You plan on rebuilding the engine or are your going to leave it alone for now

BTW - Its looking good man

Now I want to hear this. I think we've all got some stories of an easy job that turned into a nightmare, always good for a laugh.

i was picking on him, it was in his 4 runner, 4x4...auto tranny, me, steve, and carson (dubulup) all worked on it for about 16hrs straight

put it this way, we got the tranny in, and then the motor wouldn't turn over....so we had to take it back off, not sure what we did, but the second time around worked

then we found out the transfer case had a crack in it after it was installed/running

he made it from atlanta to birmingham and i think bryan from BNR welded the case up for him

You can't say that...it'd be more like it took 3 of us 16hrs to swap out a tranny

*edit...dayem it...Brian, beat me to it.

Steve, wtf is that thing that looks like an ACV, in the 1st pic? Are you trying to get this thing to pass emissions?

As of this morning, the engine is out and apart. I'm gonna spend the next 2-3 days street porting and rebuild. Looks like I'll have to replace the rotor housings with 13B since these housings have some wear. Here're some pics of the subframe and engine disassemble.
