Think it blew up

Hi im John i just bought a 93 RX7 about a month ago and im pretty sure it blew up. It barely stays running, smokes alot out of the exhaust and when it went to boost it like slowed down. So i parked it and tried startin it once since about a week ago when it happened and it still runs like crap. I live in point pleasant NJ i was just wondering what my best bet would be to do. A crate motor from Mazda, get it rebuilt and if so by who i hear a place called KDR is good and there in Pennsylvania. If you guys know anyone else in Jersey who rebuilds them and does a good job just let me know. Thanks alot

Please tell me you've checked the map sensor on the drivers side firewall. The vacuum line might of popped off. Try that first.

Do a search on blown motors or apex seals - lots of info here. Don't jump to conclusions without at least doing a compression check. There are lots of reasons in addition to blown motors why FD's can run poorly.

what happened that you lost the engine? Did you get a compression test yet?

What are your mods?
