I dunno it might help to lower your intake manifold temps being that your moveing air over your intercooler.

i dont know what material theyre using, so i dont know how much it compresses and so on. im not too sure it would make THAT much of a difference. the engine runs really hot. . . the ENTIRE engine bay gets hot. heat is going to soak into the manifolds eventually. . . especially with boost. its very interesting, but im not too sure id care to mess with it.
also, if someone has stock twins or a torque brace. . . all that would have to change. the manifold may not fit with everything else installed after having those gaskets in place.
again, interesting, but dont know if its really worth it.

I had one made for the UIM/LIM space out of phenolic. My UIM is always cool to the touch, but I also had it coated by Jet-Hot, so I don't know what to attribute the temp reduction to. I also don't know if it makes any HP.
