Tapping for Oil ?

Purchased oil filter pedestal to tap into read for my oil pressure gauge, upon installing it i noticed there is NO WAY that once you installed the oil filter on top of it that it would fit with the throttle body installed. So how/ where can i tap into (WITHOUT losing the reading to the factory gauge cluster oil pressure reading) that can give my after market gauge a oil pressure reading? any help is appreciated.

It sounds like you bought a sandwhich adapter, not a new pedestal. This is what you need: http://mrcmfg.com/catalog/product_in...products_id=72 . I have one on my car, it works without filter fitment issues.

You could replace your stock Oil Pressure Sender with your aftermarket unit.
The only thing the stock one does is tell your stock gauge the pressure, which youll be using the new gauge for anyways.

you can tap the factory pedestal, or the oil cooler line banjo bolt.
