Tanabe Swaybars

Anyone used Tanabe swaybars? I see that they aren't adjustable might be a downside. But has anyone used them.

I've used them, but only on the street. They came with my car when I bought it. I had a hell of a time figuring out what they were because they were stock looking and came with stock looking rubber bushings. They are chromemoly with a 30.4mm front diameter and 20mm rear.

They are significantly lighter (and cheaper) than the Mazdaspeed bars and supposedly about as stiff (hard to tell how stiff because they do not publish the inner diameters). I think they are still sitting in my garage.

Not the Tanabes. The Mazdaspeed ones are 'adjustable' in that they have two end-link attachment points per side.

I know the bombest "***" chit would be the Tripoint but Tanabe's are 190 front and back each minus 15%. So pretty cheap, wondering if performance is cheap, says on their site that it is supposed to be urethane bushings.

I don't trust anything called sway or bar from RB since the threads I have seen and the Big List reviews.

I have some old sway bar discussions from the Big List saved and several people reported RB sway bar failures.

I have no idea what this means: "190 front and back each minus 15%". The chromemoly bars (that I linked to) have rubber bushings.

I read another thread about it recently.

What I meant is the retail is 190 and where I buy stuff I get minimum -15% on Tanabe.

i will be using a Tanabe rear bar. as per Tanabe it is +36% over the 93 bar. it is non adj and appears to be well made. the rear is 20MM outside and 15 MM inside so it has a 2.5 wall thickness. it is being offered for $153 by Evasivemotorsports.
