Swaybar Mount comparisons

I just wanted to gather a little information on swaybar mounts. I know stock ones are crap but I was wondering more specifically how many people out there have used the SuperNow! swaybar mounts as pictured here:

They look a little like the Widefoots but do not look as sturdy:

However, at half the price I am wondering how they compare.

Also, has anyone tried the RE-Amemiya Stabilizer Bridge Bar?

Well the feedback is going to be very low here in the States/Canada, there are but a few out there. I can tell u a number of JDM companies use them on their time attack cars, Super*Now, FEED (also rebrands them) Craft Company and so on. The Super*Now mounts are 22mm shorter than stock for increased ground clearance. The Super*Nows does not have the "clamp" like the Widefoot, so there you can justify the cost difference a bit.

As for the RE-A Bar, I know Rotary Extreme had their own version of this, and there were a few drifters that ran them in the states. The mount are still formed sheet metal but not swiss cheese, and you have the two mounts connected, but you gotta watch with autox and such that it may/will bump you into a different class.

With that said, Pretty much anything is better than stock, it just depends how much you are looking to spend. Given the extensive track use the Super*Nows have in Japan I see them performing just as good as any others. Plus they have a nice set of sway bar brackets that can go with it!

I will see if I can get any feedback from the few I have imported. If you have any questions about the Super*Now products send me a pm or email to seeltuned@aol.com

Thanks for the review. As for the functionality the Widefoots do exactly the same thing they have the same features. Although, the greater amount of material used in the Widefoot's could justify their price for myself. This swaybar supports(pictured) are just bling IMO, I don't beleive it to have any functionality.

I like the fact that they raise the swaybar as do the Widefoots so that the swarbar isn't the lowest point of the car.

Very true, it really all comes down to price and how you feel. Plus with the widefoots I believe he still offers the feature to retain the oem sway bar height.

As far as raising the sway bar there are pros and cons, in stock form ideally you want the sway bar in the stock location, to keep the arms parallel, there is an entire thread on this in the Suspension section. https://www.rx7club.com/suspension-wheels-tires-brakes-archive-112/why-i-think-sway-bar-mounts-must-stay-stock-height-283908/ On the other hand raising the bar will help bring the sway bar back to parallel if the car is lowered. Ideally you would want mounts built specifically for your needs, but these aftermarket units can get you close.

The brackets/supports are stronger with a greater resistance to bending.

You can also use adjustable end links on your swaybar to get the bar horizontal like the Maxdatrix ones if you use the Widefoots...

My car has some sort of bracing on the mounts, it looks like gold color anodized metal overlapping strips about an inch wide with a welded gusset in the middle of each. They are at each side but do not connect to each other. Does anyone know which ones they are?
