Sus Guru's - Steering Wheel Vibrations at 90MPH
Just did my springs a few weeks ago and have probably driven the car 3-5 times (about 150 miles) since then. I noticed today that I get some pretty steady vibration throught he steering wheel when I hit about 90. Prior to the spring job she was smooth as glass as high as you wanted to take her.
No, I have not had an alignment done yet.
Is this vibration due to the fact that the springs are stiffer or that the wheels are out of alignment? Perhaps something else?
Suspension guru's: opinions welcome. Howard Coleman, where are you?

get an alignment, its also possible that your wheels need to be balanced.
if you need someone to do the alignment/balance i can give you the number of a good mechanic in the airpark. he did mine

Get those old dry rotted tires replaced steve and then get an alignment. Given the mileage of your car it is very possible they are OE which means they are 10 year old tires. If you still have the problem after that let us know.

If you're cheaping out of an alignment you have no business driving over the speed limit, IMO. Budget for an alignment whenever doing suspension changes. That's all I'll say.
I've not changed springs on an FD, but immediately I would suspect it changes the verticality of the wheels (camber(?)) and if you loosened any of the bolts holding the front suspension in the process you've probably put them back together in a slightly different way, affecting other settings. I know for mcpherson strut suspensions this is true.
