I spy grumpy. LOL. I forgot I sold you that intake.

It looks like the Y pipe is not even bolted down. It is not sitting flush against the compressor housings. Like mahjik said, maybe you need to clock your compressor housings to move the y pipe over more to gain some clearance.

Here is a link that can help explain what to do. (If that is part of your problem)

Yeah I should have clarified my pictures a bit. I didn't bolt down the y-pipe, in fact the other half of it isn't even connected. The y-pipe does bolt down and fit correctly. My primary turbo housing clocking was not changed and the clocking of the CHRA to the manifold housing is the same as it was before the reinstall (I marked it with paint in 2 places before removing). I'll bolt down the y-pipe and take a new picture to show the real fitment.
The bigger issue is that the cold side couple from the intercooler rubs against the coolant hose. This prevents the entire unit from being about an inch to the passenger side than it should be. If you look at the first picture you can see the mounting tab on the IC not lining up to the support bar nut. Even if I remove the coupler support piece which is touching the coolant hose, the fitment does not improve. I was taking a quick look this morning and I think the hoses that come with the kit are too long compared to the factory hoses so I may need to cut them a bit.

Maybe it's the angle of the photo, but it looks like the cross-over pipe is almost resting on the filler neck. It really should be over more towards the alternator. Did you have the Efini pipe on their before this way or are you instaling the Efini pipe along with the other mods?

yeah I think it's a bad angle on the cross over pipe. The 99-spec was already in place before all this stuff. Another thing to note in the 2nd picture is the 90* plastic pipe going to the intercooler is partially blocked by the alternator.

Here's a similar thread:

He's using the non-Efini Y-pipe but you see how far over it goes.

Last sentence in above quote is actually the biggest obstacle for most FD owners lol.

Did you use the OEM 90* Hose for the primary filter? I can't see to get mine to fit without collapsing the hose.

Everthing is installed & tightened, fitment looks good.

Yes I did. I put the first inch of hose through the opening in the intake. This alows the smaller diameter of the bellows to go through the hole in the intake. Doing it this way will make it so the hoses are not collapsed.

O yeah, forgot to mention I cranked it and it started right up. Just need to finish up some small things and I can drive it again.

It is filled with RTV on the inside so the cap itself does not touch coolant.

It might be a thread split at this point, but here's how the pipes line up now. It looks like I just need to trim some length on the new pipe, I managed to find the stock pipe to compare next to. My concern is that I'm not sure that trimming it a little bit is going to keep it from rubbing the coolant hose.
