Strange Ignition Issue and Other Electrical

Ok, I am having some strange ignition issues. As of right now, the only way I can manage to start the car is to jumper those 2 upper copper leads coming off what I am guessing is the ignition switch.

I have three of those things that I am assuming are the ignition switch. I have swapped them all out and when I try to start the car with the key, I get nothing. No click, no turn over, no nothing.

Also, the power windows and windshield wipers are not working. Is this a fuse issue, please give me some things to look at. I am lost. Thanks a lot guys.

That picture is of the driver's side of the steering column, opposite the key hole for the ignition. Just for orientation purposes.

It's sort of hard to help when you say something like 'I have three of those things that I am assuming are the ignition switch. I have swapped them all out'.

You are replacing components on the car and you are not even sure what they are? Have you checked the FSM or the online parts fiche to determine what you are replacing?

It should be easy to determine if the ignition switch is faulty - turn the key to 'start' and determine if the start connection is getting 12 volts. If not, the problem is down the line. Are you getting 12V at the starter solenoid when you turn the ignition switch to 'start'?

Sorry - that should read: "If is is getting getting 12 volts, then the problem is down the line."

Get yourself a multimeter and start checking wires.
