I was driving in the rain today and once it stopped I noticed that my rear wiper was stuck on along w/ my rear defroster... its went away after 3 startups... anyone seen this b4 or have a clue as to what could be causing it?

The bolt could be loose on the rear wiper, I dont know what the problem could be with your rear defroster.

 

Its still doing it... I don't get it... now its only occasional. I noticed it when I would turn the key from the run to ACC. it will start doing it everyonce and awhile them !!! Anyone have any ideas? I didn't think that they would be related in any way....

 

Maybe with all the rain we've had some moisture has messed with the electrical circuitry in the hatch area. If it dries out here in the next few days and the problem goes away than you have your answer.

 

Actually my car does that too I think... i dont have a rear wiper but occasionally when I hop in and start it up Ill look and notice my rear defrost light is on. But then I just turn it off but ive always wondered why it sometimes comes on by itself when I start my car... Thats really quite wierd now that I think about it...
