Stoichy Baby!!!!! which AFR? Nonseq dun!8-)
Morning/Afternoon/evening (woteva it is whereva u r!?!?!?!)
I have a question of experience, which u'll probably guess from the title.
I've just made that journey down the arduous road of non-sequential conversion, and boy did I have some Cancer ridden chargers, Primary had approx 3mm + play in the shaft and as for the secondary, lets just say I now know why the boost wasn't kickin in!!! all fins in the inducer were mangled and the shaft was ....................................... wait for it ................................ Yep, bent as a nine bob note!!!! Am I eva glad I bought a spare set of twins for the conversion.
The conversion went well, apart from the disheartning sight as I pealed the chargers off!! and get this, all that damage and not a single splinter in the I/C???
Anywho, I digress, I'm after recommendations for AFR meters for gettin an accurate reading from which I can set the maps on the Power FC, not only did I switch to nonseq but I also binned the cats, so I now have 3" straight through from the twins to the Super Dragger. Fueling def needs attention.
Who uses wot? wot works best with the Power FC?
The other prob is boost, im not hitting more than .6 Bar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Hey, its not funny, all that work and only 0.6bar?? wot a jip!!! any suggestions???
One more thing, you guys stateside don't know how lucky you are, have you seen the shape of the straight through downpipe for a right hooker? Damn JDM steering rack

Dude, you need to read the stickies for a few days before you blow your engine.
You can't just slap modifications on to an FD and hope for the best. At the very least, you need a boost controller to keep boost at stock levels.
You are very lucky that you are only boosting to 0.6 bar (8.7 psi). With a downpipe, midpipe and exhuast you could be getting 1 bar and a new engine.

I don't think a AFR is what your after, you'll need a wideband. Depending how knowlegible you are you should consider getting the car tuned by a knowlegible person. good luck

up the duty cycle on the PFC's boost control (and up the boost cut limit accordingly), assuming you are still using the stock solenoid. also, disable sequential control in the PFC's "ETC"(IIRC) page. bring the boost up to 10-11 psi and no more. but the issue with a straight exhaust will be boost creep if you haven't ported the waste gate, so look out for it.
as for wide band o2 sensors, there are several that people use, check out www.rx7store.com . but you'll need to read a lot about tuning to not blow things up, or take it to a professional.

Okay, heres the deal, thanks for the advise by the way.
Creep def isn't a problem, I mean, she won't break 0.6 let alone creep above 0.8!!!! and theres a hesitation in the mid range (which I put down to fueling) and she can be encouraged to spit flames! I ported the wastegate 1/4" to try and compensate for the additional flow from the straight bore, turned off the Seq control on the PFC and upt the duty cycle on the boost control, wideband Bosch (4 wire) 02 sensor is in place (but only wired as standard, I'll hook up a live and an earth for the live and the sensor at the weekend *time restraints*)
My only concern is, from wot u said particle effect, "assuming you are still using the stock solenoid. " define which solonoid u mean fella, I removed all solonoids from under the intake!! The stock Denso boost sensor (mounted on the bulkhead behind the TB) is still hooked up to intake for pressure control!!! Is this sufficient for controlling boost from nonseq twins?
I've also changed the location of the airbox (stock) intake to give a cooler feed and not to rob the IC of air, but both are stock!! this was in an attempt to avoid excessive creep with the 3" straight thru.
