is there an adjustment for Steering wheel tilt on your cars? or does one style like r1 not have it a touring has it? im asking because i tried searching the internet and my owners manual and i can find anything about it. My knees come to close to the wheel.

No adjustment, I have the same problem with my knees on the steering wheel. I'll be investing in a new steering wheel this winter.

i wonder if the seat has an up down adjustment.

NONE of the FD trim levels have tilt/telescoping steering wheel

the seats DO NOT have up/down tilt adjust either.

You can get aftermarket seats that will lower your seating position or have the tilt function.

That doesn't tilt for driving, it's an alternative to a quick release hub for an aftermarket wheel.

I'm 6'6" so the first thing I did after buying my FD was get a 330mm flat-bottom (or d-shapped) MOMO wheel, Diake hub, and NRG Gen 2.5 quick release. The wheel obviously helps because it's smaller, and the flat bottom helps with knee clearance as well.

The quick release also helps because I can easily remove the wheel for sliding my right knee in and out when getting into or out of the car. It also adds about 3" in space between the wheel and the column so it pushes it out off my knees.

Since I have long arms I was worried this would make it the wheel feel cramped, but it really didn't. For any taller FD drivers, this mod makes driving the car MUCH more pleasurable.

I used to have the same problem in the miata .. if you have wide feet you can maybe use instead of heel and toe just left and right side of your foot ( it can be done ) , get a bucket seat that sits lower , Or get the above steering wheel .
