Speed limiter questions

I was reading a post on how to bypass the speed limiter. From what I gathered I can pull the green wire with the red stripe from the ecu. Doesn't sound right to me but would be nice if it worked. And other option is change the ecu. Which I'm not quite ready to do. Money issue

i would save up and go for an upgraded ecu, as i dont know how old some of your parts are there is only so much abuse an older car can take.

Yes I hate being limited. It's gotta go. And thanx but I read that thread and it's not specific if it will disable the limiter by pulling the green wire with the red stripe

it is the green wire with the red stripe. i have personally done it on my car. MAKE SURE YOU LEAVE IT LONG ENOUGH SO YOU CAN RECONNECT IT LATER. you will be sorry if you go to put in a pfc and have to get new ends for your harness.

And that's it that's all. No more limiter. It's almost the worst thing ever having a car like that limited. It's not even fair. It makes 5th gear useless. lol.
