Hello everyone, thanks for looking. I was wondering, when should there be power
going through the solenoids? At all times or only when the car is turned on? Im losing boost and im not sure if my solenoids are the problem. thanks.

There are quite a few solenoids that help control boost. If you can be more specific about your boost problem, you might get some better help.
Do you have a boost gauge installed?
How much boost are you running on your primary?
What about at tranistion to secondary boost?

Thanks for replying! I'm actually not getting any boost at all. I bought some brand new stage 3 bnr turbos and the engine only has 6k miles on the rebuild. harness. All my hoses are new aswell. One thing though is that i havn't replaced the wiring harness. Do you think it can be that?
When i turn the key on all the solenoids are getting power accept the charge relief solenoid. And im not sure whats causing this. Do you think this can be causing my boost problem? The solenoids works however because i tested them individually.
Are you having a rpm increase problems? If your front cat is clogged, you will not make boost either. Double check your hoses. Disconnect one side of the boost canister and gently blow pressurized air thru it with the key on, you should hear no leaks. Same thing with the vacuum canister, disconnect that hose and do the same thing with the key on. This checks for leaks in both sides (boost and vacuum) of the rats nest. start there and report your findings

If you suspect an electrical problem, check for ECU codes. The FSM doesn't document what the CR solenoid is supposed to do with Ignition On, but it does say it should be energized during idle.
There is some diagnostic info on solenoids in the FSM, page F-162.

Does anyone know if the Vacuum Turbo control solenoid requires 12V? Because the pressure turbo control solenoid is giving out 12V. reason being is the terminal looks different so i was wondering if they provide different voltage ratings.
