Not to swipe the thread...but my main ride is a Russian "Ural" motorcycle/sidecar rig. There are a handful of these rigs in running around in the U.S.. People always stop folks on these rigs to ask questions. Some much so we have a name for the phenomenon..."UDF"...Ural Delay Factor. Named such because it takes you twice as long to get where you are going because of all the attention/questions.

I get a lot of comments on the RX-7, but only about a 10th of what the scooter gets me.

I almost never notice people staring at my FD when I'm driving it, since I'm used to it, but everytime I have a passanger that hasn't riden in one before it's the first thing they notice.
Yesterday I drove my boss' bright yellow beetle and noticed everyone staring immidiatly.

A couple years ago I had the FD parked in the driveway to give some more room to work on the Miata, which was getting a complete brake job- that's another story...

Anyway, some young guys from the local high school come running by on a training run, and three of them stop to check out the car.

The one kid is just going nuts, he's practically slobbering on the car.

I let him sit in it - it was almost too much for him.

He wanted to shake my hand, and then he and his buddies resumed their run.

It was pretty funny.
