So. Calif.

Hey all I am looking for GOOD shops in the Los Angeles/San Diego area. I am a newbie and the car is new also, so help me into the right direction. Optimal goal for my car is power and the shop i am looking for must be able to do good work on the rotary motor. I am looking for people with know how.
Thanks

the only place I let touch my car is Rotary Reliability and Racing in santa ana. Nick is the guy to talk to. 714 731 4637

best prices..best work..that simple.

tripoint is also very good...though they will charge at least 20-40 percent higher than anyone else. its hard to get out of there without spending a thousand dollars for repairs....but they do good work..very good..just expensive.

rotary power has had some good input...though blackr1 recently took his there to have the motor rebuilt and from what I saw on the forums it took quite a few days to get it running right after he got it home...dont know what the problem was..boost related from what i remember.

enjoy

yeah I ran into some problems, but it was my fault. My registration was 5 months expired so Jeff couldnt really test out the fresh engine install without risking getting the car impounded by the police. After registering the car he was able to correctly troubleshoot and diagnose the boost issues

I had bad experiences with rotary reliability and racing. I would not recommend them.

get a shop manual and learn to fix your car yourself. It will be the best thing you can do for your rx7.

The last 2 times I took my car to Tripoint, they did some stupid things. They didn't plug my O2 sensor back in, they lost/threw away my cold air intake duct, and they threw away my under belly cover w/o my consent.
