Look Out Everyone!!!!!!!!
Hello everybody......Make sure you pass this on to everyone you know with an FD. I'm a Mazda Tech. and just went Through this on my own FD. There have been four Fds that just came in last weak with "raw fuel smell"
after looking for an hour (sterted with my car) I found that my PULSATION DAMPENER was leaking at the top
(where the little rubber nipple is). The rubber from the heat turns hard and brittle. If you have this problem replace it Immediately! One car already had minor fire damage. There is a national backorder on them so IT may be hard to get them. The Dampener is next to the primary injectors. Hope this helps.
And just remember not all Mazda Techs. are bad.....
