Ok I have to ask, have you test fitted the EVO 2? How are you going to mount it? I would love pics. I know it'll fit with no center trim or door trim, but I'm guessing your putting those back in? I currently have an EVO but would love the extra width of a EVO2. Anyway if your making custom brackets I'd love to see them/ get plans for them.

They will fit with the center trim,not sure what your talking about there.What I did was pull the fabric off the side of the seat so that the area of the seat that was hitting the door panel was showing.Then I filed the fiberglass down some til it would fit with the door panel.REALLY EASY !!

My friend is going to make some custom non adjustable brackets that will literally put me on the floor so that will leave me enoughhead room for my cage and I.

To answer your question though,its no bigge to put the evo 2's in the fd !!

Yeah long time

well the color is similiar to steves color but not the same.I would not want to pick the same exact color as anyone as they would say I was copying from them.The color is actually a candy blue from a custom paint company that deals with custom motorcycles etc etc......The color will give that irradecent look to it.Looks tasty

The color is a house of colors brand. {STARY CANDY BLUE/SILVER PEARL}

The Evo 2 mods.Well you will need to have someone make a bracket for you just like any other sparco seat,just about anyone can do it.

The the problem with the EVO 2 is ,the side of the seat hits the top of the door panel.You can either leave the door panels out which most peope like myself dont want to do or do what I did.

All you have to do is take the covering off the corner of the seat,not hard at all.Then take any type of file or very coarse sand paper and file/sand the corner that hits down about half an inch then put the fabric back on that corner and install it,you cant ever tell that it has been filed down

I will get some pics when I get my digi cam fixed .......

By the way,my car is fully painted,I will get pics up as soon as I get it fixed

Damn my car looks tough !

Actually it's done sitting in my garage.I was in the middle of taking pics the other day with the digi and got too excited and dropped the camera and well it broke so as soon as I can get ahold of a decent camera I will post pics....yeah mazdaspeed hood....

I got them through a local import shop " Rush Hour Performace".

Still waiting for them to be delivered.Ordered them last week so hopefully next week I will receive them.

It is supposed to bolt right up like the stockers but who knows ya know

I got the kit for 2300.
