Actually just got a rubber mallot and went crazy on it.Dont do it that way though because I had alot of **** I had to fix with body puddy from banging too hard
I did it with the fender off the car too.

They say that it's easier to come by in teh winter months.
It s loan-a-tool program, so they ship it to you and you have to return it within 10 days, or else they charge $400 (or $700? something like that) to your credit card.
In the end, all you are responsible for is teh shipping charges, to and from (if you send it back to them of course, hehe)

Hmm,I wish I had a special tool that allowed you to roll the fenders instead if having to bang them in with a ruber mallot,Oh well its all straight now so
We did the rear lips also but those were alot easier because the metal was alot thicker which kept the rear 1/4 in the correct shape.

DAMN. So did you chemically strip the paint Eric? I see what you mean about prepping being the hardest part!
Is it possible to do the engine bay w/o removing the engine? Like just undoing the lines/etc and moving it aside?

My friend painted his fd engine bay with the engine in just by moving things around and taping things off so its possible !!
you planning on doing this yourself too?I would say go for it,its a good learning experience
