if you can find anyone selling the discontinued Mazdaspeed and C's would be best for FDs.

I'm using RE-Amemiya.. only slightly shorter than stock but feels good
a lot of people use and like the shorter but notchy B&Ms

Didn't someone make copied Mazdaspeed? can't remember rite now, sry....

I have had quite a few shifters in my time.

From stock to cut LOW stock, to B&M and now to mazdaspeed.

Stock is def the best for smooth shifting but it made the **** stick as high as a UPS stick shift lol so i cut it. Def made it better but throws were still long.

So went to B&M. NOTCHY like theres no tomorrow but gears were just a click away. If you city drive the car alot, this is not the shifter for you. You need more effort to get in gears and its makes it even harder to get into 1st if you're still rolling. With the stock shifter, its not that bad.

The mazdaspeed i have now was identical when it came to notchiness to the B&M but after some time, it became more smooth. Its still not as smooth as a stock but it does feel more sturdy.

Im gonna change my tranny fluid spring time so maybe that will make things even better for me.

Not sure about Mazdatrix. I thought it was only rx7store and Pettit that were MAZDASPEED duplicates. http://www.pettitracing.com/rx7/index_driveline.htm
Quality piece. Takes a bit to get used it, IIRC it shortens the throw ~50%. A little pricey compared to the others. But quality piece with no rattle issues. I'm happy.

I had RE-A and installed to feel how much shorter the throw was. Felt nice, but I wanted a shorter throw. I installed the MS and it feels a little rougher, but the throw is very short. Take a little time to get use too.

I would go with ether one of these. Quality and a nice feel.

Also I nver drove with the RE-A. I just installed and checked the Throw.

Link Have you clear out your mail box yet?

Does'nt matter which one, they are both the same....I went through all of them listed above and ended up with the C's which is basically a mazdaspeed and this is finally the last one I will be using....
