Question sum1 help wit my poor rx..please

hey everyone, i need some help. i just recently was driving and my shifter would always go up and down while driving and when i get off the gas...its werid i know. but when i was driving the other day i heard a loud bang from the rear end and now every time i drive it really goes up and down, and it sounds like im dragging something but im really not and im talking about a real loud noise...i folowed it as my friend drove it and the whole back end would bounce every time he got off the gas and i thought my exhaust was going to fall off as well.. my friend thinks its a tranny mount or a motor mount....i think its a motor mount bc thats my opinion, what do you guys think??

These are straight up symptoms of a cracked power plant frame (PPF). Do a search on it.

Yeah it means the PPF is broken. Stop driving it until you've got it repaired or replaced. Replacement is the best idea.

I just asked a friend of mine the same question. Cause I remmeber my shifter moving abit and he told me if the shifter moves its most likely a mount broken somewhere.. Put your FD on a lift and begin inspection..

good luck

just get someone which can weld to tig it back together and perhaps get a peice of 1/8 peice of chromemoly or even mild steel welded to reinforce it.
