1. Takata is some SERIOUSLY, SERIOUSLY overpriced stuff. It is no better than any of the other racing harnesses from big companies (Scroth, Simpson, etc) and costs 3-4 times the amount. That and harnesses expire after a few years.

2. Where do you plan on mounting the shoulder harnesses to?

3. Wearing harnesses on the street without a rollbar/cage is NOT a good idea.

Make sure you get a Harness bar or cage. Otherwise you will die in a crash.

Unless your going to be wearing a helmet EVERYTIME you drive the car... dont get a cage.

Harnessbar is the way to go.

A rollbar should be padded anywhere you can hit your head on it, helmet or no. A harness bar is not going to keep the roof from caving in on your head when you roll the car wearing harnesses that keep you in place instead of the stock belts which will give a little.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Wearing harnesses for street driving without a rollbar in the car is DUMB.

I have Takata's in my FD and I have a rollbar .

Listen to everyone here and take the necessary precautions to be safe if you want to wear harnesses.
