Seatbelt Stuck

Wondering if anyone has experienced this issue. I drove my car this morning and when I got to my office the seatbelt would not unlock. I press the release button and it stays down and the seatbelt stays locked on. I ended up crawling out and leaving the seatbelt as is, lol. Is this a common issue?

Thanks in advance

Not a common problem, possibly something got stuck inside the seatbelt receiver. Worst comes to worst you can probably get a good used receiver off the forum, it just bolts onto the seat.

If you can manage to get the seatbelt to come out of it you may be able to clean it out and get it working again.

Thanks, I used the method of shaking it around and it clicked loose. I'll give it a good cleaning and see if this prevents it in the future.
