Seatbelt Squirrel/Mouse got stuck dammit!

Yo,

Yeah, I already searched, and yeah I know I can take it to the dealer to get fixed. I do not want to do this.

Here's the scoop:

The mouse is stuck about 3/4 of the way back, no greasy cable is hanging out, it's just sitting there. It was making a clicking noise, and the seatbelt light was on.

I cussed and beat on it for a second on the way to work, but it didn't unstick. The clicking stopped, and the light went out though. Is a fuse blown? Did the motor just burn itself out?

I'd rather not take my car to the dealer, if this is something I can fix myself. I read about Sniper X's screwdriver and hammer fix, anyone else have some advice?

Thanks in advance!

yeah, i guess the dealer is a risk, but i took my black car to the local mazda dealer here in va, and they fixed it PERFECTLY. only took a few hours.

if its stuck there though and you wanna move it back, just look to your left as you're sitting in the driver seat, and remove the small black panel. and IF your car is as immaculate as you say it is it should have come with a small hex key wrench from the dealer that lets you crank the seatbelt back haha. unplug the fuse in there as well so it doesn't have a mind of its own and go back and forth. (but maybe you knew this procedure already )

good luck man!
