They are universal ? I have read good things about them and wanted to see if anyone in here has used them and would take any advise, car will run 13b single on a VMIC, for street and track thanks !

The oil cooler(s) are the easy part of the project, getting brackets, ducts, and all the plumbing is the hard part.

If you plan on going to the track regularly you should look into dual oil coolers. Either upgrading to the R1 setup or getting something like Sakebomb's dual oil cooler kit.

The stock lines won't plug into an aftermarket oil cooler so you do have to change the lines to AN lines/fittings.

The mishimoto coolers are fine. Mocal and Setrab are the 2 popular ones amongst 3rd gen owners it seems. Mishimoto makes good products and their warranty is incredible. Some people are weary of their low prices for Some stuff but really it's fine. Their thermostat is good too.

I have dual mishimoto and happy. The temps were awesome and quality seems good. Unfortunately I need a rebuild so I have no longer term review on them.
I am not running a thermostat and the temps actually get too cool or borderline too cool with normal driving with ambient temps in the low/mid 70s on the highway.

Mishimoto coolers are fine, we have installed them on some track only and street driven cars. Their universal kits are not a good idea. We have brackets specifically for the FD and an itemized list of parts to put either single or dual setups together

The cooler in this link isn't the best for fitting in the stock locations. I'd recommend a good 19 or 25 row. See Banzai's link for the correct parts.

I used the Banzai brackets and a 25 row cooler and fitted it inline with the stock single cooler. The setup works great, here's a link: Dual cooler project

Thanks guys, so I am thinking of running x2 mishimoto coolers, I am still getting familiar with doing this as it is my first build, so from my understanding if I run x 2 ( going with 19's ) they will mount either side of the bumper ( use the banzai mounting kit ) x1 sandwhich plate. If i can get all the mounting and hardware for now then I will get custom lines made up. Could anyone just confirm if I need anything else for this setup? the car is a full overhaul project so I do not mind getting it right first time. any help appreciated, I am just trying to understand everything a little more!

Thanks Liam
