Manual Seatbelt stuck

Like the title says. Before I could pull it really slowly and it would come out but now it just plain old stuck. Any tips?

remove the trim and see if the belt is binding somewhere. Shouldn't be to hard to tell once you get the trim off.

Yeah was already that far, ended up taking it out and opening the cover with the ball and the red plastic piece that actually locks the the gear and cleaned it works fine now.
