with no luck. I'm looking for the thread that shows how to modify the fuel pump relay to supply a constant 12v current to the fuel pump. TIA.

One more question, can this be done while the stock fuel pump is still in place? I have a Walbro that I plan to install when I feel like removing the gas tank (must drain and remove loose debris in the tank first).

I run two stock pumps. I used two bosch relays and hard wired them using the stock fuel pump relay to trigger the pumps opperation.

You know that the fuel pump and bracket come out from the top of the tank. You dont need to drop the tank to replace the pump.

Good Find! I'll have to do this.

One other question, does this eliminate or go around the fuel pump resistor? The one that drops the voltage to the fuel pump when cold, I think? How does that work into this mod?

Thanks

I know, but I don't want to install the new pump till I clean out of the tank.

When I pulled mine out, my tank must have already been cleaned.

Ok after looking at the schematic it looks like this does the same thing as shorting the fuel pump resistor? Correct?

Thanks

*edit* I found this thread and it set me straight.
