I heard from mazda it will have a rotary twin turbo...is that right? He also told me I could get the japspec one for 1900

i believe it will fit. we will have to wait until it actualy comes out to see motor mounts and what is involved.
i wouldnt put it in an FD though. i would try in a FC.

Yeah, all by itself it wouldn't be great... it'll need forced induction. I doubt the actual mounting will be tough, it'll be configuring all the ancilaries (like turbo plumbing and such) that'll be the real headache

*supposedly* it will not fit due to the side exhaust ports requiring more clearance than we have. Of course, a V8 would never fit either, right? Right? . Oh, pistuns suk, please don't post until you've lurked for awhile longer. You have a lot of things confused. Read the FAQ and do some searches, the answers to all your questions and more are out there.

The TURBOS on an FD take up a lot more room than ANY NA header/exhaust I can think of, even for side ports - I saw the RENISIS motor in the Star Mazda Formula car at Sevenstock - The intake & exhaust manifolds looked much more compact than a 13bREW. and MAZDA claims it is 20% smaller overall than the 13bREW setup.
