Adding oil to the gas

1994 stock w/38,000 miles
Pretty new to this forum and learning a ton, thanks.

Is it a really good practice to add oil to each tank of gas, and why? I've seen MMO at 4 oz. per tank mentioned.

Tried to do a search, but had no luck.

Thanks, Gribblet

I have always added 4 to 6 oz. of MMO to each tank of gas. MMO is just a good thing, period. I use it in my piston engines too.
The main point in the rotary engine is that any sort of pre-mix gives you a bit more protection is case your Metering Oil Pump doesn't inject the right amount of lubricating oil. In case you didn't know, the rotary engine actually "burns" a preset amount of oil that is injected onto the rotors.
