It does not have an attachment to bolt directly to the air pump hose but it has a small tube so you can route the air pump line to it. What I did was I got some rubber air hose and cut the adapter off the old cat and fitted on the new one with the rubber hose in the middle, very simple.

im sorry to jake ur thread but, on my Rx7store HF cat, i got the original valve and welded it on the cat. Then i put the hose on it. Was this a good or bad idea. Should i cut the valve for just leave it. I dunno if air is getting in or getting blocked by the valve. Thnx.

I've read that it is a good idea to weld on the old flange from the stock cat, because it has a valve in it that prevents exhaust backpressure from traveling towards the air pump forcing the air pump to work harder to get air to the cat. Just what I've read elsewhere on the forum...
