Rx7Store V-Mount Opinions? (searched)

found a few threads regarding v-mounts, and jason's buildup of his kit. But i've yet to find any thread on anyone that has actually bought, and DD/Tracked his setup. About to finally start tracking my fd every once in a while. So i'm considering 2 options, and i don't need flaming for this... keep fluidyne rad with fact configuration and xs stock mount and fab up some custom ductings and piping.... Or Switch out to a Vmount, part out current setup. and get something nice. Rx7 store seems best bang for the buck, but i've yet to see or hear any reviews on it. Anyone here bought and installed the kit? opinions? how's it holding up? I daily Drive my FD, and will be tracking it every once in a while so i would like the vmount setup for cooling concerns. But i'd hate to pay 2k+ on a name brand vmount if Rx7stores works just as good. i've heard the koyo rad works well other then fitment, and they have a good greedy FMIC core that works well as well.. win win? or am i wrong? opinions on this would be great. Thanks!

TIA,
Regards,
Los

well this is like the 100th post on it but, im sure someone will link you soon enough.

Personally, im going to run the RX7store vmount. For 1550 you get the modified koyo, and the IC, all piping and everything you need to mount it all, considering the HKS unit is 2200, i think ill step out on a limb and go for the RX7store. Everything looks well set up, the koyo rad is a great radiator and works great.

I have sold around 7 kits since we came out with it but have received limited feedback. Only feedback was that it fit well.

jason,

will this work with all accessories, such as PS and A/C? any way to fit a small battery, like a Odyssey , in the engine bay?

found the above thread as posted. and i did find like 2 threads sayin it "fit well." but my concern is, how are the temps numbers holding up? i entrust in rx7store's engineering. I'm just trying to do my research. i run a full internally stock rebuild, with a-spec's GT35r-.74a/r single with short header, 44mm Tial Wastegate, on a 10psi spring boosting about 12 at the manifold. with a chuck westbrook street tune. and before i get my final tuneup with him, i need to either get the v-mount, or re-setup my smic and duct it. so i'm researching before i do either

Shouldn't this be posted in the Rx-7 store forum?

if it has to sure. but i don't see why, i'm not asking jason about his product. I'm asking for a discussion amongst those that have the product and their thoughts upon it...

as i said, for the price, id consider it... most other kits are very expensive and dont include all the parts to mount and change the radiator and things.

The fitment should be fine for the 99 front end. The intercooler nor the radiator get in the way of the bumper.

Sweetness. thanks for those that have replied. Any way to get a "fell out the back of the truck deal? " cool. now i gotta save up the money so i can do it. would it be a pain in the *** for you do use my fluidyne? it's only got like 5k miles on it.. hate to just toss it... or would you reccomend the koyo over the fluid? koyo is a thicker core no?

Once we finish up the FDnewbie one, it will include EVERYTHING you need.
