CA Rx7 Sway Bar mount

I've been looking around for sway bar mount kits recently and haven't been able to get my hands on the Widefoot mount kit or the Mazdaspeed kit.
The only other 2 kits I have seen around are the AWR sway bar mount kit and the Super Now short stubby bracket. I was wondering if anyone could point me in the right direction of which kit to get.

I have the Supernow and have been very pleased with it. One thing to know is if you plan on going with a front mount intercooler at some point you will open the door to some fab work. The radiator mounts for FMIC kits go between the swaybar and mount, and changing that mounts needs some fab work.

Racing Beat (I think) also has a brace that stiffens the stock mounts, that's an alternative as well.

To be honest, I've yet to see an FD with broken or bad sway bar mounts. But, I haven't been around many tracked FD's, the heavy load from track conditions and slicks seem to be what does them in.

I purchased these awhile ago. Very solid. Customer service was good. They have a couple of options depending upon your setup IIRC.

I've had zero issues with my RB swaybar brace. It fits fine with R1 oil coolers and an oversized radiator, which (like dale mentioned) is something to think about.

I would definitely get the RB sway bar mount but my passenger side sway bar mount is cracked so I have to replace one side anyways. So I thought I might as well replace both for a stronger unit instead of buying a used passenger side mount.

I've broken/bent a couple sway bar brackets. Hit a big old rock one time.
Dunno if you can get them anymore, but widefoot racing made some that were awesome.
The supernows and awr's are nice peices you shouldn't have trouble with.
Honestly the sway bar brace from RB is overkill if you have aftermarket mounts.
I have heard the supernows raise the bar a bit and may have issues with super low cars? Maybe just a rumor. You could use the rb brace to drop it back down a bit. That'd be pretty sweet.

I broke one of the mounting "ears" off the RB sway bar brace with stock SB mounting brackets. Bracket was also bent. Switched to Mazdatrix SB brackets and they have been fine.

If you're a good welder and want to DIY, you can box (reinforce) the stock bracket and/or tie them together and it will work fine.

My stock brackets were bent so I bought the ones from Mazdatrix, which look identical to the AWR ones and I have had NO issues. Very strong and sturdy plus NO need for the extra brace from RB.

The majority of the cars that come into our shop have at least one severely bent sway bar/radiator mount, typically the passenger's side. A lot of people don't know what a bent mount looks like, I suspect this is some of the reason for people's issues with aftermarket radiator fitment.







I have the FEED on my 20B, they are virtually the same as the Super Now just not Purple

Agree. Plenty for a street car. And no problems after ~ 4 seasons of autocross with an adjustable swaybar. But that was on street tires. We'll see how it does if I ever get back into it with 'R' compounds.

I've also done this on a spare set but never installed them....never had a reason to with the RB brace. I'm not even a good welder but they seem like they will be alittle stronger.

One of my brackets is bent as well and i was thinking about the Super Now short ones.. but i have a Greddy 3 row front mount intercooler and a large radiator..so should i go for it or not?
