hey guys i need help i wanna know if the rx7 can only use the pull type clutch pressure plate, i'm trying to buy one off ebay which is not a pull type, we're having trouble finding the clutch kit for the rx7 so im left with ebay...

The stock clutch is a pull type clutch. Converting to a push clutch is difficult and requires a lot of additional hardware. Some of the VERY high end clutches use a push setup, they typically include all that hardware.

Finding a clutch in your country could be difficult, but in the US it's very simple. I just ordered an Exedy clutch for a friend off Amazon - that might be a resource to look in to.

When I bought by car is had a push type! and I was not aware of this until I bought a new clutch kit which was a push type. but yeah a bit in difference between the two, I had to get a different flywheel. a clutch for and assembly. and the biggest pain in the butt was the little bracket that mounts the slave cylinder, (because it is slightly moved over)

But as Dale said the Very High end ones use push setups. the one I had was a OSGiken, which for me was pricey to repair so I switched to a pull type

Again, don't bother converting to push. Those parts come with a clutch and it's all designed to work as a system. If you get just some of the parts and try and use it with some clutch it's very possible things won't line up or work right.

There's a TON of clutches available for the FD that bolt right in and work perfectly, and there's everything from stock clutches to multiplate setups. Just get the right clutch and be done with it.

Why would anyone want to convert to push? Is there any advantage other than not being a pain in the *** when parting the trans from engine?

No, not unless you are converting to some kind of setup that requires it. There's significant discussion of pull vs push in the service highlights document. The 2nd gen Rx-7's were push type. Mazda converted for a reason.

OP should just get a pull clutch via international shipping.

ya im thiking of refurbishing my pressure plate and release bearing and i can buy a new clutch disk cause my disk is completely gone...

I'd just get one of the sprung organic disks if you're running twins.
