You multiply rwhp/tq x 1.175 to get crank hp/tq.

You cannot use boost to calculate from. If you know x motor produces x power at a certain boost # then you can guess somewhat.

362 crank as mrrx7tt previously stated...

That is wrong. The 15% number works for going the other way. You multiply flywheel hp x.85 (15%) to get rwhp from crank #'s. To get crank from rwhp you muliply 1.175.

I doubt the FD drivetrain realy eats 15%, I would its think more likley down in the 10<>12% range if not lower.
At 10% the #s work out to:
342 fwhp, & 306 Ft/lbs Tq.

the FD drivetrain will lose anywhere from 15-20% of its power before it gets to the wheels. this value is common for all front engine, rear wheel drive cars. 17% is typically a good value to calculate from. you can expect to see a 10-15% loss with a rear engine vehicle only.

Does the auto tranny cause more drivetrain HP loss than the manual? I have a 5 speed, and my buddy has an auto, so we would both like to know. Thanks!

VRT + yes an auto eats more HP than a Manual

1bad7 - Where did you get thoes #s? - I have read that some FWD transaxels are getting down to the 8% loss range.
That 15-20% # sounds more like a Total loss
IE: RWHP/SAE Gross, not RWHP/SAE Net (fwhp)
SAE Gross is total output excluding losses from all auxillaries like Waterpump, Fan, Alternator, Powersteering, AC, ETC.
SAE Net is output at flywheel with All auxilliaries in place and operating
