rwhp at 10psi?

What is the most rwhp that can be attained while keeping boost to 10psi?

I have an auto 3rd gen. I was going to get a Power FC but then I found out I would loose the hold feature. I'm not ready to give that up so I decided I'll use a boost controller to ensure I stay around 10psi. Given that, I'm wondering how much staying at 10psi will limit my potential rwhp regardless of mods.

With all the bolt-ons, at least 300rwhp. You can look at:

to see various setups.

I made about 260 rwhp (231 on Mustang dyno) at 10 psi with PFS intake and SMIC, downpipe, and cat-back.

Assuming you could stay at 10 psi with a midpipe, I would say 280 rwhp is possible on a strong car.

BTW, I thought you could use a Pettit ecu with an automatic...

The last time my car was on the dyno it made 310 rwhp@10psi with all the bolt ons. This was on a dynojet however.

Let Peter Farrell tune it at 11 psi and you can make 345 around 300 I'd imagine.

joking

I'm not sure I've ever even seen a Auto FD dyno?

You can pretty much count on the tranny slipping/etc with ANYTHING over stock power levels. By etc.. I mean loosing gears/clutches burning out/Torque Converter problems.

If you're serious about modding your car, dont even try in an automatic. Save up and swap that POS out.

Currently I'm running full exhaust (installed the DP and restrictor plate today) and intake with ProfecB limiting boost to 10psi and the car feels wickedly fast (with stock IC). I don't have any numbers atm, but I am getting an ECU this week and will go to dyno later.
