My guess is that there are probably pics already about this.

here's the results from my search for 99 spec tailights.

I may be way off base by suggesting the search function here, but I would think that a 99 spec conversion is going to be just like any other 99 spec conversion.

Do you mean headlights, because Chuck doesn't make a "99" tail light conversion...

If you don't wanna dish out $500.00 for the OEM stuff, Krylon makes a nice kit, Costs under $15.00 and takes about 2 hours to install (incl drying time, etc). . . .

Hey FDNewbie, what part of Fairfax you live? I just moved out of there into Prince William Co.

Is there a thread somewhere on the board that tells how to DIY?? I did a search and found hundreds of threads...too much to go through

I'm real close to Tysons Corner. I think you'll like this area (minus the cops). We have one of the largest concentrations of RX-7s in the nation

You could have found this if you had bothered browsing through even a few threads that showed up in your search.

Yikes, $150 for the conversion? Ryan Wolfe's in "retirement" now, but he did them for $80 shipped back to you....

We do?? I've been in Fairfax CO for over 15 years now, I haven't seen many FDs in the area, especially lately, I think I've only seen about 5 this year...one hooked up silver, 1 yellow, the rest all red. You all got gatherings or anything??

Yes we absolutely do. I'm not limiting it to Fairfax County only... I'm talking about the greater Washington Metropolitan area (NoVa, DC, and MD). Prob is, this is one of the least active areas lol. The MSCW meets up the first Wednesday of every month (www.mscw.com), and there are occassional meets every now and then. We prob have as many FD enthusiast owners as elder non-enthusiast owners who no one knows... but either way, there are lots of FDs. I see a new/diff one practically every week!
