Always enjoy watching Rob working on these cars. We need more rotary content to feed our addictions.

Rob I saw the video earlier today. Nice work and thanks for all the information. I will need to watch it like three more times so I can learn more. I know nothing about tuning. Thanks for the vid and brap on.

thanks guys! the 1240 run was very emotional for me. Alot on the line. and as promised i would share everything i know. As i continue to push it further ill share that as well. Very fortunate to be in this position with my passion. Not trying to waste the opportunity and definitely being a man of my word and sharing everyhing as i come across it. even if it takes blowing a couple engines haha

New shoes for the beast (answered my question of "will it rub" pretty fast):

I'm looking forward to whatever aero solutions are implemented to manage the speed.

I just signed another large batch of them. I seriously underestimated how much time it takes to sign shirts. That was my major fuckup. almost all the single shirt orders are out as of today. international orders are next. Yeah the Patreon guys are saints. Life didnt shake out how i expected it. But Im a man of my word. I need the car to be safe for my passenger before i take a patreon member in it. Youll see why in 2 videos. Someone would have lost a leg.

Im stuck learning how to do everything myself and that slows things down tremendously getting the car done. I want to get the body bondoed and scanned so i can make the miniature versions for the patreon guys.

Just keep going Rob, do your thing. Unfortunately in this world, having haters means you're doing something right.

Really amazing results. Can't imagine how good it will be once it gets dialed all the way in.

I'm happy for him.

Thanks guys! I cant describe how intense it was piloting a car thats built by an amateur mechanic, tuner, and fabricator. so many thoughts crossing my mind and i had the few runs you saw to shake it down. So much to improve on and it turned out better than i expected. Who could really expect it to go from never tested to giving the hoonicorn a run for the money in 4 runs. funny thing is my fuel was so rich past 3rd gear it couldnt even register on the o2 sensor. so much to cleanup and standardize. but thats what i love to do haha

ROB it was so awesome to watch. Ya did an awesome job for the current state of the build(not much testing) and the seat time you have.
yea the hoonicorn was having issues too but I'm pretty sure we'd all love to see a rematch when both cars are at 100%
And youve have the car really dialed and more time behind the wheel of the 4 rotor.
Congrats!

Also sorry not sorry the hood flying off was a highlight moment. Flew off like it was maid of foil. And windshield didnt crack

Time for a carbon fiber rear hatch, polycarbonate rear window, and sun roof delete. This will get you closer to the Hoonicorn's weight too. I think Mazda is still selling OEM slick roofs.
Keep posting the awesome vids Rob!

Congrats Rob. Made us rotards proud and I am confident that with some more tuning of car and driver you will get the job done. You can get a non sunroof top from a jdm shop. If you cant find one my buddy owns a jdm shop and sells them.

It's not a competition. Two totally different approaches, both awesome.
