RHD Boost gauge/Firewall

I was wondering if the hole on the inside of the wheel well existed on the right hand side of the vehicle (because that's MY driver's side...) Also, if it does, would I run into any problems with heat? The back of the gauge wiring kit said "avoid routing near hot exhaust areas..." And my Y pipe/turbos are right on that side. So should I be concerned about the heat issue? Or would it be fine?

Thanks, Should I make the connection from the vacuum tube and the smaller tube of the gauge on the engine side of the firewall, or the people side of the firewall?

realize also that there IS NOT a hole in the firewall in the fender like the passenger side for a RHD car(Or drivers side for a lhd) in the RH side. learned that the hard way a few days ago!

Wait, so there IS one on the Driver side of a JDM car, but not on the passenger side? or is the hole just not there at all?

Can you guys who have RHD's with the boost gauge setup describe where the wire is being routed and fastened? That'd be awesome, thanks.

run your hose fron the uim thru the hole under the brake setup, remove inner rh side wheel well liner & run it straight thru under the dash by your pedals. hook up all wiring inside car. mines been like that 2 yrs no problem. as soon as the wheel well liner is removed you will see what we are talking about. just have to put it thru wiring harness boot.

there is a really nice hole in the passenger side of a RHD car in the wheel well. there is still a hole on the drivers side, just not quite as...open.

Thanks. So what you're saying is I should only have the vacuum hose in the engine bay and the smaller 1/8th nylon hose that connects straight to my gauge should be on the inside of the car?

I just installed my boost gauge last night. There wasn't really a hole described here http://home.ptd.net/~blouzbee/guides/boost.html BUT there was this large boot kind of thing where a whole bunch of wires went through (maybe this was installed after, because it looks like its been electric taped) So I poked a hole through the boot and ran the tubing there. So far so good.
