Why didn't he put 2300 lb on there too?

I wonder if this is the "cash out" phase of things.

Why didn't he put a stupid solid axle conversion that killed the handling of the car and never really worked for drag launches either?

The car is danm near perfect. I guess you need to see it in person to understand. Also the car put down 601hp 480TQ. I do think price is a little high but owell. I don't think he really is serious about selling.

man that sucks to get caught for street racing. they have some hefty fines for that now. Last i heard was like 5 grand was the going rate for the drivers and 5 grand also for the flagger of the race.

Cool

The car sure looks nice, but at that price, it will be a cold day in hell.
People here will argue anywhere from a 10 year old car, no warranty, reliability issues, no financing and passing emissions, to getting a new 350Z, G35, RX8, BMW 3series, WRX....etc, all new with 3 year warranties and room to DIY.
Good luck.

Well,

There's some history to take into consideration, so for some people yes.

Eric totaled his first FD a couple hours after picking it up from KD Rotary after a single turbo conversion. He then parted it out, collected the money but didn't send everyone their parts, and then built the blue car with the proceeds. I never did hear whether or not he paid everyone back or whether they ever got the parts they paid for. He was banned from the forum.

Time passed. He was given a second chance, but apparently couldn't resist ripping people off and was fired from Bi-State Customs for undisclosed reasons, probably having a lot to do with ripping people off. He was banned from the forum again.

Eric's a swell guy. I have such great admiration and respect for people who build their cars with money stolen from other people...

I understand the reluctance of any of the Missouri people to badmouth Eric and his big fat arms (and head), but it's my understanding that he did. People aren't fired for no reason whatsoever. "Rumor" had it that he was selling parts taken off cars brought to the shop for upgrades. Turbos, in particular. There were also rumors that people once again paid for parts they weren't receiving. Eric always has some sort of an excuse, though...

Oh no, I can see it now.

"I bought this car for $38k, sent the money, but never received the car???"

For $38K does the car come with $15,000 cash in a bag?

I pm'd a reputable "artistic" person on the forum who has dealt with Eric (because I was considering buying a part from him). I asked if the stories of rip-offs were true. Here was the guy's response:

That Story is absolutely true, He is actually on parole right now. I would not recommend doing business with him as he has stolen from many people whom thought they were his friend. Very sad.
The link shows the car @ a dealership. Doesn't that mean the car has already been traded in?

Yes. But mysteriously that Cash in Bag has had some "weight-reduction" done to it beforehand.
