LOL, well everyone gets different results from rebuilds. Some are with new housings, some with used housings and acc's. Some people go with street/bridge/race ports..... Some stock ports. My engine was rebuilt by RX7 Heaven of Memphis TN. The porting was done by someone else. I bought the car that way. Right now my rebuild has 12k on it, so far so good. When she blows, I will seriously consider Kevin Landers to do my rebuild, even though he's 900 miles from me. He and Mazda reman are just the first two names I think of when I hear rebuild. Sorta like when you think engine tuning, alot of people think Steve Kahn. BTW, I'm running stock boost, for now....

Bolt ons and stock boost. Stock ports. Only has one new housing. Currently has about 40k on the rebuild. Runs great and makes good compression.

who does the best rebuilds?

your budget dictates that.
anyone can put a motor together. you can havee the best builder in the world put a motor together and if the rotor housings are no good, the motor will be no good.

There are dozens of threads on this topic....have a good rebuilder rebuild the engine with all new OEM seals and new rotor housings (and whatever else may need replacing) and the motor should last a good long time. Thread closed.
