Rearview camera cable routing

Hi folks,
I bought one of those nifty rearview mirror + dash cam + rear view parking camera assemblies for my FD. They've gotten real cheap so now I like to install them on all of my cars that don't have rearview cameras standard.
Was wondering if anyone knows if there are any convenient gromets or holes in the rear bumper/hatch latch area I could use to route the cable through to the license plate area without drilling. I couldn't find any, but I only took off the one panel that covers the latch area.

why not replace the rear lock cylinder with a rear view camera?
run the wire along side the hatch latch cable.

My car has had that lock deleted.
Does the frame have a hole in that lock cylinder location where I could route the camera cable down to the license plate area? I couldn't see or feel it when I was looking around near the latch.
Not sure what the hole in the frame is filled in with but I don't want to add the hole into the aftermarket fiberglass bumper if I don't have to.

I forgot where I routed mine for a backup camera, but if you pull out the plastic that hides the rear wiper bottle there should be a spare grommet you can use. I had the bumper off, so it was easier to route, but you should still be able to see from inside what I am talking about. If you still need help I can pull plastics tomorrow to take a picture where I routed the back up camera

Thanks! I'll look around tomorrow for the grommet.

I have a camera license plate holder.. routed cable through a rubber plug in the center of the trunk just under the rear hatch release. Worked out well
