Ramps
Are there any ramps that are long enough so as not to scrape my bumper up? The car is on stock susp. and it is still too low to use any ramps I've seen. The jack I have is also not low enough to fit under the front crossmember, the recommended front jacking point. I've heard the suggestions about driving up onto bricks then the ramps, but the car is definitely not going to be starting anytime soon. Any suggestions? Thanks!

I use ramps.
The front of the ramp sits on a 2x4 that extends about 12" in front of the ramp. I have screwed a 6" section of 2x4 about 6" back from the beginning of the bottom 2x4. This acts to raise the car a little over 3" before going up onto the ramp. I have stock suspension with an R1 lip. It works nicely.
Both 2x4's are cut at 45 degrees where the tire goes onto them.

I used to have a set of yellow metal ramps from Autozone. I also had a set of extenders for the ramps - I think an old roommate of mine got them from Autozone as well, but I haven't looked for them in a long time. The extenders are 2 pieces - red and black plastic. They fit onto the ramps and extend them out.
I put an FD with H&R springs an an R1 lip on ramps - the lip just BARELY brushed the ramps on the way up.
IMHO, I'm not a super big fan of ramps. It's MUCH easier to put the car on jackstands, and many times safer too. I've overshot ramps once - that's rather scary! Also, you really need an assistant to check the driver going up the ramps. On the other hand, I can easily put my car on jackstands in like 5-10 minutes, and have plenty of room to work.

I have a large aluminum floor jack and a little small cheapie jack. I put the cheapie jack in just behind the passenger front tire to the back of the lower A-arm. I jack the car up a bit there to JUST get the tire off the ground, then get the big jack on the front crossmember. Bring the car fully up and put it on stands. The jack easily reaches the rear diff as-is, and I can easily get the back end up.
My car is also on Eibach springs, so it's lowered. No probs at all.
You can also make a stack of wood, drive the front end up on it, then jack up from there. A buddy of mine used that trick with his VERY low FC. But, using the second jack is easy and quick.

Wow, well, I thought I was gonna have to do all that stuff, but it turns out the Rhino Ramps sold at Kragens for $30 cleared my car. Lucked out! Guess I'll have to do that when I lower it eventually. Thanks for all the help everyone.
