Radiator Leaking - Best fitting/priced replacement?

It looks like the stock radiator on my 94 MBM has started to leak where the plastic end cap joins the core. I am thinking of replacing it with either the Koyo or Fluidyne/PWR radiator. I understand the Koyo is thicker than the Fluidyne/PWR, but I am concerned about fitment problems. I have an M2 Large Intercooler and a CWC carbon fiber airbox that I plan to install at the same time and I am concerned that the Koyo might be too big. Has anyone tried this? Would it be better to go with the Fluidyne for this setup. I am also concerned about the gap next to the radiator for the air intake. Is the gap still there with the Fluidyne and Koyo units?

Lastly, do either of these units have any issues with mounting the fans on them (i.e. do they need to be modified at all)?

Thanks in advance for your help. Any alternate brand or low price vendor suggestions would be appreciated as well...

I did some searching on this pretty recently, and came out with the census that the Fluidyne is worth the extra money just on the basis that the install was a lot easier that the Koyo, because no fabrication was needed.
I'll be getting a Fluidyne in a week or so.

Thanks. Has anyone found the PWR/Fluidyne for less than $419? This is the best price I have found (RX7store.net).

i put a fluidyne in my 93 about 6 months ago. As promised it went in with no fitment issues, but it did raise the fans enough to cause interference with the ducting to the PFS intercooler. Currently running w/o the ducting, cause i am a lazy ****** and have not fixed it yet. No cooling problems, even during the hurricane Ivan evacuation, where i was in a huge traffic jam for hours. 5 hours of creep and beep, never got out of first gear. 5 hours to go 5 miles, it sucked very bad.

I don't think you can go wrong with RX7store.net.
Their prices are very good.

So the Fluidyne raised the fans enough to interfere with the I/C ducting (per Mike's message)? I have to believe the M2 Large I/C's ducting is larger than the PFS units. Has anyone else successfully installed the Fluidyne with an upgraded intercooler and ducting?

I did have to trim my fan shroud slightly to get it to fit on the Fluidyne. No other fitment issues. I have a Blitz SMIC, so I can't comment on the larger intercoolers fitment issues.

If you are thinking about the Fluidyne, save yourself a few bucks and get the PWR. It is identical and has a better polish to it.

The only problem I had with the PWR rad is that there are no brackets for the bottom of the fan shroud. I guess it is just supposed to sit there. The intercooler duct kinda keeps it in place. But if you ask me it is pretty cheap to not even have brackets on it. But it solved my cooling issues, so I am Happy thus far.
