rad hose with connecter

So I tool my cai off and I saw this and dont know what its for? Can some one fill me in please. The connecter is coming off the blue thing, It was un plugged when I found it and nothinf is abnormal

I believe its for a aftermarket water temp sensor. Heres a example Radiator hose adaptor-Prosport Gauges Upper radiator hose adaptor

^Yep. Not the best way to install an aftermarket water temp gauge either, read my thread on how to properly install one.

That does make a lot of sence. Thanks! (I read your write up) I think I'm going to do it at the tb coolent line when I get a new gauge.
