r2 vs. r1 vs. base

which is the best? Is one faster? I know the R2 has the dual oil coolers is this a big plus? Also does the R1 have it dual oil coolers?

R1 & R2 have dual oil coolers. Which is best really depends on what your going to do to the car, do you want a sunroof? auto-crossing? etc.

straight up 1/4 mile. Don't care about steering. or if it's comfortable or how it brakes.

Would think the base because it is the lightest of the models.

i found an R2 a guy is selling we are talking right now 65,000 on motor need paint, headlight, and fender he's asking 5k.

All FDs are pretty much the same, same engine, same trans (5spds), same diff (5spds again), same brakes, etc. The differences are sunroof, Bose, leather, fog lights, rear wiper, cruise.

The difference between an R1, R2 and Base are pretty much nothing when it comes to drag racing. The Base might weigh 30 lbs less. The extra oil cooler is a REALLY good idea if your going to do any track events, not that important for drag racing.
