quick help ! it click, cranks, but wont turnover ??
finally after 2 years im almost there, got the motor in and now this i searched but couldn;t really come up with anything...
It clicks when i turn the key and the belts slowly turn for a second or 2 but it will not turnover...
It's a new battery and i tried a jump just to make sure.
Is it flooded ? or not getting any fuel ? I'm lost and I already did my fair share of thinking with all the other crap.
any opinions would be great ! I really wanna break the motor in and drive it.
Thanks,
Scott

That sounds like a dead battery BUT, since you got a new one, your starter might be dead instead.
Try cleanning the battery terminals /\ like someone already suggested /\, and put some oil on the terminals for better contact and to protect from future corroding (I learned this from an old mech, a cheap way to protect from corrosion on terminals).
Also very important is to check the negative where it connects to the chassis and the positive to the relay/fuse block for proper contact.
Hope that helps...
